About Me

Terry Wayne has been writing songs and playing guitar since he was 14. From high school bands in Plymouth, North Carolina, to Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, to the pull of Nashville songwriting, music has always been the thread running through his life.

After years spent serving in the Marines, teaching guitar, building a career, and raising his son, Terry is returning to songwriting with more life behind every line. His songs come from the long way around: the places we leave, the people we become, and the things nobody really has figured out.
